Editorial policy
Lively Future Guide aims to make ideas about possible futures vivid without presenting speculation as fact. We distinguish what is known, what is inferred and what is imagined.
Accuracy and uncertainty
We review claims for clarity and context, and avoid presenting a possibility as a prediction. When an article refers to external material, we aim to describe it fairly and identify its role in the argument. Readers should be able to see where an example ends and an interpretation begins.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and relevance, not to promise a partner favourable coverage. Sponsored material and partner placements are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from editorial work.
Corrections and illustrations
If a material error is brought to our attention, we review it and correct the article where appropriate. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that applies, the image is identified accordingly. Illustrations are not evidence for a claim.
One future is never the only one worth seeing.
We treat forecasts as prompts for thought, not promises. Looking across possibilities can make present-day choices easier to examine.
